BOB & LAURA

BOB & LAURA

Log Cabin Republicans of Connecticut proudly endorses Bob Stefanowski for Governor & Laura Devlin for Lt. Governor

“Given their combined years of experience working in the financial industry as well as managing and starting businesses of all sizes, we are confident that Bob & Laura will bring Connecticut’s economy back to where it should be.  We know that they will stand up for all residents - and take major steps towards getting big government out of the way so Connecticut can recover from decades of poor policies from the Left. We have great confidence in their ability and desire to defend the interests of Connecticut’s LGBT constituents, and agree that they are the best candidates for the offices of Governor and Lt. Governor to represent us and advocate for our community.  ”

About Bob & Laura

Bob and Laura have crafted a plan to reign in CT spending and taxation, make our state safer AND refocus the education system in ways that are inclusive of the LBGTQ+ community.

The work Laura has completed in the legislature has been supportive of all Connecticut residents as has Bob's community service and volunteerism.

Bob attended Fairfield University and after graduation started a job as an auditor at Price Waterhouse Cooper, working at the Gold Building in Hartford, where he met the love of his life, Amy. Since then, Bob has built a career rooted in accountability, leadership and humility; and a family grounded in faith, honesty and respect.

Bob is both a Certified Public Accountant and Certified Financial Analyst. He received his Master’s in Business Administration from Cornell University, and served as a Wharton Business School Fellow, taught as an adjunct faculty at NYU Stern Business School, London Business School, Cambridge University and as a visiting professor of management practice at Oxford University.

Bob’s experience spans the globe and includes positions as Chief Executive of some of the world’s largest companies, including General Electric, formerly based in Connecticut, and UBS.

The daughter of an elementary school teacher and entrepreneur, Laura has worked throughout her life to serve others and give back to our communities.

Laura’s career took her to the Big Apple, with a job in the city and roots planted in Fairfield. Laura would follow in her father’s entrepreneurial footsteps and start her own communications firm in Connecticut, closer to her family and the state and community that’s home.

Like many of us, Laura Devlin understands the devastating effects the state’s fiscal mismanagement has had on our families – constant state tax hikes, lack of affordability, a breakdown in trust of government spending. Laura went to work to change things for the better in Hartford, where she has won against the toughest odds in the fight for affordability, public safety, openness, and transparency.
